, we will certainly be surprised to find out that the new nippy, smart, firey new Fiat 500 is being leveraged by none other than Jennifer Lopez. Where-as some of us may fail to see the connection in the UK, the apparent likeness between the star and the car are in its context rather than symbolic status. I just cant imagine the global superstar/singer/actress driving in to the local garage for her Fiat service.

In recent adverts shown throughout the US, the lovely Lopez has been singing the praises of the Fiat 500 during prime time television, and for some of us we dont need the likes of Lopez telling us so. Chrysler Groups chief marketing officer stated that Jennifer fits in perfectly with the brandbecause of what she is passionate, authentic and a fighter. She is determined to stand out from the rest just like the design of the new Fiat.

The link to Fiats heritage is obvious, style wrapped in a tiny package that bows to efficiency when it comes to city driving, and getting into those awkward tight spaces. Now it would appear it is a straight talking, street wise city dweller.

Why car manufacturers keep driving their campaigns forward with stars and celebrity endorsements I dont know especially when Shakira had not much to do with the new SEAT on her tour, and Kylie drove to an imaginery place quietly in the recent Lexus Silent Car.
