If, like me, you've had enough of lousy refereeing, smoke-filled rooms of sad people and that feeling that your team are never going to win anything in your lifetime, then you need to get away and take a break.
Seriously.
There's nothing worse than a football bore - ask my wife.
So what can you do to get back on track and re-energize your system and possible kick start your brain into looking for things of interest outside of a plasma screen?
Start with Google.
I mean it. Put in '100 things to do before I die' and see what comes up.
Not only will you get a very cool checklist from various sources, but you'll also have a great new set of conversations to have down the pub whilst waiting for the next game to start. By the time of writing this we are talking about 8 hours or so (depending on your timezones).
So get online and get a life.
Want some quick and easy suggestions?
1) Learn to cook something new.
2) Take up a sport (nothing too strenuous, just enough to move you off the armchair).
3) Contact and visit old friends (not just through social media - but that's a great place to start).
4) Invent something - it doesn't have to change the world, just interest you.
5) Write a book - but that's a whole new chapter (sorry about the gag).
Failing all the above get back on You Tube and start surfing for all the above. Whilst you are there, look up my name (Dave Crane or hypnocoach) and take a look at my stuff and maybe join me for a comedy stage hypnosis show or two?
