A lot of people know exactly what they want out of life and have it all planned out when they are young. However when people get older they somehow lose a grip of reality and start giving up on a lot their dreams. They simply "come to realize that life doesn't always go as you dreamt of when you were a kid", in other words they give up because it takes too much work to reach some of the things they wanted so badly.

This is one of the worst approaches you can take to life and by settling for something less than you are worth you are really putting yourself at a disadvantage in life. By settling you can never become truly happy and you will always have a nagging feeling deep down inside that you could have done things a lot better and that you could have succeeded if you had just pushed yourself.

One of the worst feelings in life is the feeling of regret, of sitting on your rocking chair 80 years old and knowing that you didn't live the life you were meant to live, not because you couldn't but because you were actually too afraid to go ahead and try.

The first thing you should promise yourself to never do is to back down to the challenges of life. In my opinion the universe throws challenges at all of us and the only way to see what we deserve out of life is how we respond to these challenges. Some of the most successful people in our world are in the position they are in because they have failed time and time again. The common denominator for all of them however is that they will never quit and they will keep going until they reach what they had first intended to reach.

The power of determination and never even thinking of quitting is an incredible one and can break down some of the most immense barriers. We have seen examples of this time and time again and it is just like the underdog boxer who beats someone who has twice the skill he possesses simply because this guy refuses to quit and just keeps going on pure heart, will and drive. Make sure you are the guy who combines your talent with hard work and drive, this way you will become invincible in life.
