Next, you should examine your health insurance plan. What coverage are you provided with? More often than not, cosmetic surgery is not usually covered by common health insurance plans. You will need to go through a credit application process. Just remember, it is important to not choose a plastic surgeon based only on their ability to offer a payment plan.

You might also look at available credit lines you currently have, like a 2nd mortgage line, or even a high balance credit card. Be prudent, and make sure you are not over extending yourself financially.

Planning for cosmetic surgery involves both looking for the best procedure for your goals, the best surgeon to perform the procedure, and a smart way to finance it all.
