The first region listed is the Ashanti Region and it is broken down into smaller locations
. These include Agogo, Agona, Asikuma, Bekwai, Dunkwa, Ejisu, Ejura, KNUST, Donongo Odumasi, Kumasi, Mampong, Obuasi, Offinso, Tep and Wawase.
Next comes the Brong Ahafo region which is broken down to Atebubu, Bechem, Berekum, Dormaa Ahenkro, Duayaw Nkwanta, Goaso, Kintampo, Mim, Nkoranza, Sampa, Sunyani, Techiman, and Wenchi.
The third major region is the Central Region which consists of Agona Swedru, Ampenyi, Assin Fosu, Cape Coast, Dunkwa on Offin, Elmina, Gomoa Fetteh, Kasoa, Mankesim, Mpoasem, Nyanyano, Saltpond, and Winneba.
Then there is the large Eastern Region which lists the regions of Abetifi, Aburi, Ada, Akim Oda, Okosombo, Akropong, Akwatia, Anlo Town, Anyinam, Apedwa, Asamankese, Asesewa, Asiakwa, Kade, Kibi, Koforidua, Kukurantumi, Dwahu Tafo, Mpraeso, Nkawkaw, Nkwatia, Nsawam, Obo Dwahu, Odumasi Dobo, Osino, Sekyere, Somanya, Suhum, and Tafo.
The fifth region listed is not really in Ghana. Rather it is for the Ghana community in Europe. While there are no sub-sections, Ghanaians or people interested in Ghana can stay in touch through this European link.
The Greater Accra Region is sub-sectioned into Accra, Labone/Osu, East Legon, Tema, University of Ghana, Legon, Nungua, and Kaneshie.
The seventh major region is the Northern Region which is further broken down into Bole, Damango, Nalerigu, Nyankpala, Tamale, Yendi and the UK-Ghana Community.
The Upper East Region only has two smaller regions listed as Navrongo and Zebilla while the Upper West Region has five which are Bolgatanga, Lawra, Nandom, Tumu, and Wa.
There appears to be a sizeable Ghanaian community in the United States which has local communities in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C. , New York/New Jersey and California.
Back in Ghana the second to the last region listed is the Volta Region with sub-regions in Aflao, Ho, Hohoe, Keta, Keta Krachi, Kpando, Peke, Sogakope, Tadzewu, Tegbi Keta and Waya.
Finally on the website is the Western Region that lists Asankragwa, Axim, Bibiani, Bogoso, Elubo, Enchi, Half Asini, Jewi Wharf, Preastea, Sefwi Wiawso, Sekondi, Takoradi, and Tarkwa.
