If I had to think of all the things that I enjoyed finding car hire wouldn't be on my list
. I assume it is the same situation for you. I want to help you get your next hire car with no (or at least as little) hassle as possible. This doesn't mean you won't have to consider a lot of things but I want it to be easier for you.
So let us move on to consider the essentials of hiring a car. What are these? Well they are the type of car that you want, where you are going and how the car is picked up and dropped off. You also need to think about how long you want if for, the car rental company and the insurance. Each of these will influence the price.
When thinking about duration you want to keep the time to a minimum. Twelve and 24 hours are common cut off points so try to have them for less than that. You can have it longer if you wish but obviously that will cost more. It has been known for people to hire cars for one or two hours only.
Booking a car from a lower class is the cheapest way of doing it. These cars will be the smallest so make sure they are big enough. Also classes of cars vary with each firm so make sure you check.
Insurance is both complex and expensive. Ideally your own insurance will cover the car and that would be the cheapest way of doing it. Make sure that it covers the minimum requirements of the rental company.
There are many ways to find the right company for you. The easiest way is to search for car hire in your local city and use the words "car hire" or "car rental". I live in Birmingham so I would search for "car hire in Birmingham" or more simply "car hire Birmingham". You will get a long list of companies to choose from. Remember to try a few to get a number of quotes before making a decision.
