Find Out How To Improve Your Memory As A Woman
For any women who are over the age of 65 and concerned with the state of their memory
, they can receive complete benefits by drinking roughly 3 cups of coffee on a daily basis. Experts are recommending drinking caffeine in moderation, which has been proven to promote mental health and wellness in women.
When caffeine is enjoyed in moderation, it can actually provide a benefit for women's health, especially related to their memory. A recent report from the American Academy of Neurology's medical journal in August 2007 showed that a study was conducted through the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research, which exposed how caffeine related to both women's and men's health. This study that was done including more than 7000 people that were over the age of 65, and it took into account different variables, such as how much coffee or tea they regularly consumed, as well as their medical histories. The participants within the study began by taking a series of tests to determine their mental health, much of which were focused on their memory. From there, the tests were repeated after two years and four years progressed within the study. The women who continued to drink roughly 3 cups of caffeinated coffee each day showed a lesser reduction in their overall test scores than women who simply drank one cup of Joe per day.
The interesting thing to take into account was that this caffeine benefit only affected women within the study. The men who drank the same amount of caffeine showed no benefit to their test scores, which reveals that women are more sensitive to caffeine overall. Caffeine works as psychostimulant in the body, which reduces the decline in mental function in women only. This memory benefit also was correlated to the age of the women. Women who were at the age of 65 had a 30% less memory loss, and older women over the age of 80 experienced a 70% reduction in their memory loss after regularly drinking caffeine.
The important thing to take into consideration is whether or not caffeine provides great benefits to slowing the development of mental illnesses, including dementia. The study that was conducted did not show the relationship between caffeine consumption and degenerative mental diseases, but it did reveal the effects of regular caffeine intake to reduce memory loss in women as they age.
To receive the greatest results, it is not necessary for women to significantly increase their caffeine intake to prevent a decline in mental health, but it is important to understand that enjoying caffeinated coffee in moderation will protect the memory of women as they age. This is the opportunity to continue to enjoy your everyday cup of Joe that includes caffeine without having to worry about any adverse effects on your health as a woman. In fact, quite the opposite is true since regular caffeinated coffee drinking will preserve your memory as a woman as you age!
