Other states have restrictions on the strength of the spray you can carry. In Michigan you are allowed to carry a 2% spray, but in Wisconsin you are allowed up o 10%. This is why it is so important for you to check on your state laws before you buy anything.

Most of the states do not go as far as telling you where to buy pepper spray, only how strong it can be. I needed to check when people started getting robbed in my town and the fights caught on tape. When you find out where to buy pepper spray, be sure to ask any questions that you have. I found out that the smaller cans will spray up to 10 feet, while the larger ones will spray up to 30 feet. My next question was answered with not all pepper spray has the special ink added and finally, in case of an emergency with a bear, by all means, spray them.
