Experts predict that the healthcare industry will continue to grow as a result of the aging baby boomers. There are several types of technology jobs and engineering jobs that may be in demand as well. Not only do you need to be patient, you also need to be proactive in finding your new job. Put your time and effort into the areas that appeal to you. Apply to companies that you are interested in working for, regardless of whether or not they currently have openings. Staying in touch will people you know in other industries and organizations can help you find a better paying job in today's poor job market by networking.
