Long Battery Life. Kindle 2 claims 2 continuous days of reading before a recharge is required. Charging can be carried out for a socket, via USB or with a car charger whilst you are on the go.

Screen Quality. Kindle 2 has the most advances on screen image quality of any eReader. Going from 4 shades of grey to 16 shades of grey with teh new Kindle reader ebook device creates a perfect display of newspapers and book pages, enormously increasing the clarity of text and pictures.

This excellent screen clarity means that reading on a Kindle 2 is often clearer than reading an older paperback with yellowing pages and small furry fonts.

Boosted Memory. The original Kindle had a small memory however, the Kindle 2 reader eBook reader has increased the available memory from 180MB up to 1.4GB. This is enough to hold around 1,600 books, magazines, PDF's and newspapers.

Computer Interface. The Kindle 2 connects to any computer via USB and can be used to download or upload PDF's, Ebooks and documents.
