Looking for the 'best face wash' on the market can be tough

. There are drugstores full of all the newest brands. Marketing campaigns flooding our senses with promises of curing things like pimples, and age spots. And aisles full of bottles and potions. It can feel somewhat daunting.

Most of us have to learn from trial and error. Spending unsaid amounts of our hard earned money in the process. All while trying to combat whatever skin dilemma had sent us on the quest in the first place. It can be stressful. It can even make our skin problems worse. So, what's the solution?

My fist suggestion, would be looking for ratings and reviews. Lot's of magazines, especially for women and teens, have them. Usually they buy commonly available, widely known brands and try them out themselves. Sometimes they even add reader contributions about their results. Another idea is doing a little online search. Check out what people think. Read what they are saying about their experiences, and more importantly if they would recommend the product.

Next, there is always choosing a store that has a good return policy. Where I live, there is a local drugstore that will take products back if you aren't completely satisfied. Now the caveat is you have to have the receipt, return the unused portion (which should be relatively unused!), and they will only refund you in store credit. But for me that is more than fair. If I'm looking at spending twenty nine dollars for some face wash, it at least takes the worry away.

I always like asking my girlfriends directly. It's easy to make a call and get some good feedback from someone who knows. And if you aren't really a 'talk on the phone' type, you could just as easily shoot out an email, or use social networking. Girls love talking about their experiences. Whether they were a huge hit, or a miserable miss, either way they are usually pretty open.

I guess you could go see a dermatologist, or seek out alternative medicine gurus. Personally, I don't have the time or money for either.

Maybe blending all the methods together is the best. It will take some 'hands on face' experience to actually know for sure. Because even if you do your homework, until you actually 'do it', there is no real way of being sure it was a success. But try to relax. You will learn in the process.

Your complexion will be all the thanks you need, for just a bit of effort. So at the end of the day...dive on in, and suds up. Finding the best face wash for you is within reach. Soapy hands and all.
