The contest takes place in Flower Fields of Carlsbad, which as the name suggests is a beautiful and famous location. There is only a small fee required to enter the contest and this fee includes entrance to the photography workshops.

The Julian Apple Festival is another one of the famous San Diego city events that offers unique entertainment, and this one is totally free of charge to attend. It takes place through the first two weeks in November, and Julian Apples are featured in all kinds of recipes that include apple ciders, juices, pies and other goods. The Annual Holiday of Lights Drive Through Show is one of the highlighted San Diego entertainment opportunities, which is the largest animated light show on the West Coast, and it takes place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
