Finding The Right Electronic Book Reader
When looking at an electronic reader there is a lot of differing styles to choose from
. The many differences begin with the screens which are used, as well as the way that you purchase and add books onto the electronic reader, not to mention all of the feature differences. Choosing an electronic reader doesn't have to be hard though. The instructions that you need in order to consider all of your options for purchasing are right here. You'll want to look at the differences in the storage space, screen types, size and the download capabilities. Factor all of these things into your decision making process.
The two main screen types are LCD and LED. Either type is fine but if you read outdoors at all you'll want to factor in the sun factor. Don't be forced into finding shade to be able to read. This is where a reader like the Kindle comes into play as you can read them even in the brightest sunlight as it reads just like paper. Consider the light in all of the reading situations that you could find yourself in and factor it in.
The next thing to factor in is the download capabilities. How can you add books to the electronic reader? Some will force you into downloading them to your computer, hooking your electronic reader to your computer and then transferring to your electronic reader from there to get the e-book on the reader. There are others that work through 3G which will allow you to download the e-book directly to your reader no matter where you're at.
Size is a consideration. Most often all of the electronic readers are going to be very small but the weight and the thickness of the reader is going to vary. Before you buy it's recommended that you hold the device as you would be holding it for long periods of time when reading books.
Finally storage space is an important consideration. You need to ask yourself whether or not having all of the books in your collection on your electronic reader is something that's important to you or not. If it is than you're going to need to make sure that whichever one you purchase has a fairly large hard drive. If space isn't as much of an issue you can save some money by purchasing an electronic reader that has a smaller hard drive. Regardless of what you go with make sure that you take everything into consideration and read the reviews to make sure that you're getting your money's worth.
