What if the grid locked political system could support the use of a green supply? Could we use our knowledge to facilitate this natural source to prosper and help the country as a whole? Here in the western world, forward thinking is not one of our best attributes. We have a very short term way of looking at things, usually the next election. If we can support farmers for crops and oil companies for production, then can we assist something environmentally friendly that we know already works. If freeing up oil imports was as easy as planting a tree, could we as a nation and a neighborhood do this? When driving around gaze at the exposed acreage being unused that could be esthetically planted in hard wood trees.

We lack true manufacturing jobs in this land. Turing to wood for fuel would inspire a new growth. An aged business once robust, would be subjected to a revival. New properties would be viewed with fireplace inserts already there and possibly receive an incentive for a used dwelling buyer. The best system is a fireplace insert closed door system, however a fireplace grate blower which costs less is a good investment. A hearth screen and a hearth rug would be a ordinary thing seen in a home.

Other segments of the wood industry would have a encouraging expansion. Chain saw manufacturers, log splitters, protective gear to be dressed in while cutting, trucks and trailers to haul and carry wood are all elements of the business that would flourish. This business would not be dominated by a couple of big companies. This truly would be small family run corporations at its best. We, as a nation, could with little effort, use an exsiting resource and develop it to a more resourceful use.
