Don't let go of strength training and aerobic exercises

Each has its own benefits. With strength training, you can build a lean body and muscles. This increases your metabolism rate, which is good as you will be burning more calories even at a lower level of physical activity.

You can also include aerobic exercises in your routine. A research by Duke University Medical Center finds that aerobic exercise is more efficient and effective than resistance training. Duke exercise physiologist Michael Winter says Corporate Fitness training is helpful in increasing lean body mass. However, for overweight people, aerobic exercises may be a better choice as it burns more calories.
