Fitted bedroom furniture - a choice you won't regret

I wanted to share a bit of a revelation that I've had. My partner and I recently resolved an ongoing disagreement (she won...). I had always felt that cobbling together our bedroom furniture from the bits and pieces that we've collected over the years was the best way to go. She disagreed. Strongly and persistently. In the end I've had to admit (never easy to do) that she was right. Her preference? Fitted bedroom furniture.

None of her arguments really hit home with me until I saw the joiner at work. The bedroom had always, thinking about it now, just been a room with a bed in it, but the change that the fitted furniture made was nothing short of astounding. Just the difference in the use of space was jaw-dropping. The bedroom feels like a much bigger room now, and all her shoes, coats, dresses and everything else (not to mention my footie kit) are safely tucked away in some ingenious drawers and cupboards. The result is a much more relaxing room, free of clutter and with the feel of a bigger, more comfortable bedroom.

We went, after my partner had done a really quite impressive amount of research into fitted furniture specialists, with a company called Strachan Furniture for our bedroom renovation. The job they did for us was so good, I felt that I should get myself onto their website and let them know how pleased we were (not something you would usually see me doing, especially for something like fitted bedroom furniture). What I found on the website was that I wasn't the only one. I thought about adding my voice to the chorus of satisfied customers, but it seemed just as easy to include some of the more memorable comments here, as they tell the same story as I would like to, and with just as much enthusiasm. There isn't much left for me to add, but just for my partner's sake (I'm not saying she's looking over my shoulder as I type, but you make up your own mind...), I'd like to repeat that I was wrong and she was right: fitted bedroom furniture has been a great purchase for us, and one that I don't regret for a moment!
