Sororities are a fun aspect of college life for anyone who wants to experience college to the fullest

. Stories and experiences that can be gathered from those groups are those that can be remembered and treasured for years and years to come. Grandparents can tell grandchildren of their wild days back in their sororities and fondly remember the way they benefited their sorority of choice. There are several ways to benefit a sorority for those who are interested in doing so.

A great way to benefit a sorority is to invest in sorority shirts. This spreads the word about the group in general and helps those who are members to proudly represent their group. Getting cool shirts and Greek apparel in general will not only be a fashion statement but it will help to entice others to join in the club.

Another great way to benefit a sorority is to sponsor a celebration of sorts. For instance, getting a permit to do fireworks on the fourth of July will definitely draw in a crowd and give people on campus something to talk about. It will also entice the fraternities to come over and have a good time. Any time someone can push for a social gathering, it will benefit the sorority they belong to. This brings up the third suggestion for benefitting a sorority; planning a charitable event.

These are relatively easy to come up with since there are many opportunities for providing help for others. It could be as simple as volunteering at a food kitchen or animal hospital or as extravagant as putting together supplies for underprivileged kids in another country. Either way, it's a great way to benefit a sorority.

The forth suggestion for benefitting a sorority is to start charitable programs that will last for years and years to come. These could be hotlines for battered women or teaching programs that help struggling students. Putting together programs like these could leave behind a legacy for the sorority that could help them to stand out above all the rest.

The last suggestion for benefitting a sorority is to set a good example. Getting good grades and staying out of trouble will make it easier for the sorority to get their way on campus. Sororities don't want members that cause headaches and drama, so it is important to think about actions first before taking them. Otherwise, destructive behaviors could lead to not only tainting the name of the sorority, but getting kicked out altogether.
