Fix Outlook Error no Transport Provider Was Available For Delivery To This Recipient

Microsoft Outlook is an extensively used email client and personal information manager

that are used to save large amount of email communication data in PST (Personal Storage Table) file. MS Outlook can be configured in three different methods which are- IMO (Internet Mail Only), Corporate or Workgroup, and No Email. Out of these, IMO and Corporate or Workgroup configurations are the highly utilized configurations. In the previous versions of MS Outlook, a user was able to set up Outlook with a MAPI compatible email server. However, the upgraded version configurations are designed for connecting to a different ISP as well as underlying SMTP, POP3 and IMAP mail servers. If in case, your MS Outlook data file gets damaged in any of above mentioned configuration, you might face the issue of data loss and require reliable and robust Restore PST tool to resolve the situation.

Under certain circumstances, you might not be able to send an email from your Microsoft Outlook account after corruption to the PST file. Moreover, you come across the error message given below while sending an email:

No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient.

The message could not be delivered and this is reported by the system administrator. These email messages are termed as ND or Non-Delivery Report. Mentioned below are the reasons and possible solutions of this issue:

1. Damaged or removed installation of MS Outlook Express might result in this behavior. It is because of the fact that MS Outlook does not work in these configurations if MS Outlook Express in not installed on your computer system. Both the applications i.e. MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express share some common files and therefore, you need to reinstall Outlook Express to fix this issue.

2. If your Outlook PST file is damaged, get rid of the damaged PST file from your Outlook profile and create a new PST file. To extract data from damaged PST file, you need to use restore PST tool.

3. Damaged contacts saved in the distribution list can also result in this issue. You need to find the same, delete the damaged contacts and recreate the distribution list.

4. It is quite possible that your MS Outlook email clients profile has gone corrupt. You must remove the existing profile and then recreate it.

If in case the PST file of your email client is corrupt, restore the data with the updated and complete backup copy of the same, if available. However, if the backup of your PST file is not available, you must switch to restore PST tool to recover your lost or damaged data.
