Flatten Your Tummy And Tone Your Female Abs

Many women today seek to lose weight and flatten their tummies

. There are many things you can do to make this happen, but it is important to realize that results may not be immediate. It takes time to safely lose weight and strengthen your muscles - if you lose weight too quickly you also put yourself at risk for gaining it all back as soon as you go off your diet or exercise regimen. The best way to flatten your tummy and tone your female abs is to begin following an exercise routine, including some abdominal exercises, and to eat a healthy, low-fat diet.

1. Isometric Crunches

This type of exercise can be done anywhere so it is a great part of any lower ab workout. Simply exhale then suck in your stomach as much as you can. Hold it for fifteen seconds then relax and breathe. As you suck in your stomach, visualize moving your bellybutton in toward your back. Repeat this exercise several times, keeping your back straight and breathing regularly as you do so.

2. Rectus Abdominis


Exercises To perform this simple exercise, lie flat on the floor with your knees bent and spread the width of your hips. Place your hands on the sides of your head, spreading your elbows out until you cannot see them. Tuck your chin toward your chest and slowly curl your body upward so that your neck and shoulder blades lift off the floor. Pause for a moment, holding that position, then gently return to the starting position. Rest for a moment between repetitions and remember to keep your ab muscles contracted.

3. Sitting Tummy

Exercises If the preceding exercise is too difficult for you or if your female abs are weak, then it may be easier for you to perform a sitting exercise in order to build up your stamina and strength. Begin in a sitting position on the floor with your knees bent and your feet secured under some type of furniture. Crossing your arms over your chest, roll your head and shoulders in toward your chest and lean back slowly. Keep leaning backward until you feel your abdominal muscles begin to shake - hold this position for a few seconds, then slowly return your body to the upright position.

These three exercises are easy to do and you do not even have to visit the gym to do them. If you want a flat tummy and strong female abs, these exercises will help you achieve that goal. With time and dedication you can achieve stronger abs, maybe even female six pack abs!
