Eating 5 or 6 smaller meals a day will help burn more fat and calories and boost your metabolism. Also reducing the amount of calories you take in is very important. Resist the urge to snack around on junk food all day long, and do not eat shortly before going to bed. Anything you eat just before bedtime will turn to fat. Drink lots of water to flush your system and to help reduce hunger in between meals.

The type of exercises you need to do would be cardio, aerobic or whatever terminology you want to use to describe getting your body moving and working off that fat. Some of the best exercises for this are running, jogging, walking, swimming and bicycling. Increasing your heart rate is one the most beneficial things you can do for you overall physical and mental heath.
