Flattering Womens Stockings, Sheer Tights, And More

They say clothes make the man, but for women, it's often what you wear underneath the clothes that counts

. What would your favorite little black dress be without a pair of flattering womens stockings? How would your tummy look in a babydoll top without a body shaper underneath? Of course, not all women body shapers, opaque and sheer tights, and womens leotards are created equal. Let's explore some of your shaping options, and what to look for in each:

Women Body Shapers

Women body shapers are products designed to make you look slimmer under your clothes. These feel almost like slightly thinner womens leotards, although there are many different styles available. With women body shapers, you have to think about three things: color, cut, and firmness. For color, most women body shapers are available in black and nude. Some women prefer nude, as it is less likely to be visible under light-colored items of clothing. Alternatively, others enjoy black women body shapers, which often look better when getting dressed (or undressed). Women body shapers also come in a variety of cuts, from high-waisted thongs to camisoles to strapless dresses. For these, you want to find a shaper that is similar to the outfit you plan on wearing over it (a halter top requires a halter shaper, etc.). Thus, you might need different shapers for different outfits. Find women body shapers that cover all of your problem areas without too much extra there's no sense in compressing an already-flat stomach, for example.

Like women body shapers, most sheer tights are usually black or nude (and sometimes white), but these are often available in a variety of shades. It might seem silly to have 15 types of nude, for example, but this is going to allow you to find the sheer tights color that best flatters you skin tone. You might even want to invest in multiple shades to go with different outfits.
