First, a brief history about the prior Flip Video Cameras. The biggest complaint was there was no image stabilization in the older models. If you don't know what this is, it simply means a technology implemented into camcorders to compensate for quick, shaky, tilting movements. This is because everyone hates trying to watch a video that is not stable and blurry. Remember Blair Witch? Wow, that made me sick trying to watch that. Anyway, the newest Flip Video Ultra HD has image stabilization and it is super smooth and helps you keep that camera steady even if you really aren't.

Awesome Mobility and Simple ( My favorite aspect about this thing)

So the high points about some of these features: the old Flip Video Cameras had 30 frames per second and now it's doubled which makes for much smoother video recording and better picture. 8GB of space is plenty for the average to over average user (you can free up the space anytime by transferring the clips to your pc). Most people record like 2 -5 min. clips at a time and this is basically what this is made for....to be able to quickly access it and pull it out to catch those moments you don't want to forget.

The USB Arm is also another new thing to make our lives easier. You no longer have to go buy some specific cable to keep up with. Now you just plug the Flip Video Ultra HD directly. HDMI slot also makes things easier and faster in case you want to watch a video directly from the Flip Video Ultra HD to your flat screen tv.

Lastly and most importantly, the ease of use, size, design, and overall mobility of the Flip Video Ultra HD. Takes 5 seconds to learn how to use. Power on, mash the red button to record and mash the 2 buttons opposite one another for zoom. That's pretty much it. They designed it well and it is user friendly because of it. The size is like a cell phone and it is done this way on purpose! That way you can put it in your pocket or purse for easy access whenever you need it. Which is why it is one of my favorite HD and Flip Video Cameras. The Flip Video Ultra HD offers the HD quality with it's awesome ease of use and mobility.
