It stands to reason that feet are naturally designed for walking on a flat surface.

With regards portability it is obvious that fold-up shoes can be carried around anywhere very easily. A woman can carry her fold-up flats in her handbag with a minimum of fuss and then put them on when they are needed. Driving is a good example in this kind of situation. Driving with high heels on can be difficult sometimes, and could easily cause an accident. The ideal solution is to take the high heels off and conveniently slip the fold-up flat shoes on the feet for a naturally comfortable and safe drive.

The benefits that are offered by wearing this type of flat shoe style means that these shoes are quickly gaining in popularity. One day they could even challenge high heels as the better choice of footwear for the modern woman.
