They say that children are the most precious additions to a person's life

, and no matter what, parents are bound to love their little ones. However, this concept is challenged to the limits of one's resilience and patience while one is potty training boys. However, if one follows some basics to make the process easier, the whole experience can be a lot more fun, and a lot less stressful.

What do you do when you have to learn something new or train for a new job? You repeat the same action again and again. Repetition is the key to faster learning. And if your child has to learn anything from your potty training boys efforts, he has to have the means to do so. In short, you need to have portable potties all around you, particularly when you go out. Often, it so happens that parents, upon finding the lack of a potty chair, ask their children to 'do their business' in the diaper itself, much like when they were younger. This has a very detrimental effect on the child, and must be avoided at all costs by purchasing portable potty chairs.

I have seen many parents using threat and violence (yes, you read that right) during potty training boys to implement their teachings, so to speak. However well this might seem to work, such a threat based teaching method has only short term benefits, and eventually, parents do need to use rewards and praise in order to get the message across and ensure that their children follow.

And lastly, one needs to be very patient during the entire process for the same to be successful. Remember, just because you can't see improvements, does not mean that they are not happening. At such an early age, change happens at a very sub conscious level. All you need to do is hold your fort.
