Ford Fiesta sales rise high in the European Market

Ford Fiesta from the makers of the Amercian car manufactures Ford is going strong despite of the crisis faced in the European market

. In just two years of Ford Fiesta's launch, the 850,000th car was sold in the European market. This record breaking car crossed one million and is available in five continents. Ford has a stronghold in the European market, it has made its 2nd position firm as Europe's No.2 best selling car in the month of September and also for the first nine months in 2010. Ford was on the No. 2 position in the European market for passenger as well as the commercial wheelers sale in the month of September. Ford tasted success even after heavy competition and the uncertain markets. Ford also achieved success in the UK, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland and Turkey and was on the top spot year -to- date in Italy and Czech Republic. The European market for new car sales went down in September to 1,407,600 units by 7.5 per cent. It was the lowest in September in the 19 Euro markets since the year 1988. Experts believe that Ford's sale will be 14.5 to 15.0 million units for the year 2010. Ingvar Sviggum, Ford Europe's vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service said that in the Europe auto market, Ford has a stronghold. The reason for the same is the successful product led strategy in Europe which Ford wishes to continue. The company plans to stick to its marketing strategies and be a competition and maintain its position in the European market. It can be rightly achieved by balancing the revenue, market cost and by making a brand reputation for the company. Mr. Sviggum further added that the customers look for high quality, safety, Eco friendly cars which will be in the new C- MAX family car launching soon. The new Ford Mondeo and the new Ford Focus coming early next year is a planned move from the company. The Ford's Model Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus and Ford Transit are the top selling wheeler of Ford in Europe. Ford Fiesta was the best seller in September in Italy under the category of foreign cars.
