Ford India, the sixth largest car manufacturer in the country has joined hands with Avis India to acknowledge travelers about the self driven holiday

. The concept is launched as an initiative from Avis India and Ford India to promote awareness about the traveling experience all by yourself around India. Avis India's self drive tours offers Himalayan and Desert Expedition in Ford Endeavour the 4x4 SUV top end model with automatic transmission at just for Rs. 2500 for a day. Avis India is a venture between Avis Europe and The Oberoi Group. The company is leader in the market for providing cars for rental in India. Across the world, Avis and all its subsidiaries land at the second position in the list of largest used car rental providers. The aim behind the promotional campaign is to spread and incline people towards self driven holidays in India. The promotion includes aggressive online marketing, SEO and outdoor branding which consists of promoting it at the Lift areas, Scrollers, Wall Panels and Parking arena at the DLF buildings. Currently, the promotion will stick to the DLF complexes across all DLF and Gurgoan. The company also plans to extend the campaign at other metros such as Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore Ford Endeavour, the high end model used for the expedition is powered with 3.0 litre, 2953cc engine is crafted with features like four wheel drive option, Rear Ladder, Decal and more. The SUV is also equipped with GPS and baby seat but the additional features come from paying some extra bucks. The car will have guides and maps for the various destinations along with first aid kit Avis India has ensured that the drive will be hassle free and a memorable experience. The cars have rent-a-cab license for self drive. Avis is offering ample of cars to choose from which include Maruti Wagon R in the economy segment, Maruti Swift Dzire, Ford Fiesta and Honda City in the mid sized segment, and for the premium luxury segment Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Mercedes E and S class and for the MUV and SUV admirers Toyota Innova, Ford Endeavour and Mitsubishi Pajero comes in self drive and chauffeur services.
