The Ford Ka has been a recognisable car for a decade as a cute little nip around for the city, but recently it has been remodelled and the face has changed. Now, you see something that looks a little more like a fiat punto, and has a lot more features packed in that makes it far superior to the older models.

The new seating position sits quite high and its un adjustable so if you aren't blessed with long legs then it may not be the vehicle for you, especially as you cannot adjust the steering wheel to accommodate.

Sadly the safety in the standard model is a little lacking compared to the ford ka's competitors, as you only get two airbags, but the pull of the new design Ka is the amount of add ons and style kits that you can choose. The basic model is pretty low budget, as you don't even get central locking with the basic Ka, but the running costs are really cheap and the car insurance bracket is really low.

If its reliability that you are looking for the Ford is a great option; renowned for being stable and the depreciation is low. If anything goes wrong, ford parts are relatively easy to source so shouldn't leave you with a hefty bill.
