Format And Install Operating System In Simple Step

It is not a tedious process to install operating system in to your machine.Follow the following steps to install OS in Desktop or Laptop.If you want to install OS in Netbook you have to install via a external CD/ DVD ROM.

Step:1:

Insert XP cd in drive.Xp can be purchased from microsoft.com .Not only Xp you can install different OS by following these steps.

Step:2:

RestartYour machine.After inserting Xp CD into the drive it has to be BOOTed.Set BOOT from CD option available in BIOS setup.

Step:3:

Press any key to boot from cd...If you see any thing like thisJust click any key.

Step:4:After this , the setup may take some time to copy files to drive.

After this you can find drives or it may have nothing incase of new installation.

Step:5:

If you cant find the drives,then create partion.This can be done by the steps appearing at bottom of your installation screen.If you have already formatted then select the drive to install the operating system.(C: Recommended).

Step:6:

click on the c:.When you click,the installation process starts after you select File System.

Step:7:

Select NTFS fast(FileSystem).When you select Normal installation it takes more time to install the OS.

Step:8:

Leave for some minutes so that it copies the system files.

Step:9:

It will ask you to restart(press any key or just leave)

Don't press any key now if it ask for

PRESS ANY KEY TO .

Step:10:

XP installation screen will appear.

Step:11:

After few minutes a window will appear saying to enter the CD key.CD key will be available on the CD cover or the publisher will provide you.

Step:12:

Select location and set the time.

Step:13:

After some time it will restart .That's it You are now working with XP Operating System.
