Fortson Loss Blow to FSU

Fortson was to enter his junior season, as perhaps one of the biggest threats for quarterback Christian Ponder this upcoming season

. He was the Seminoles third leading receiver last year, finishing with 45 catches good for 610 yards, and four scores. The loss of Fortson leaves Florida State to fill one of their starting spots at the position. It is expected that sophomore Rodney Smith will take his place. Smith had just one catch in his freshman campaign last season.
