If you're seasoned at kayaking, you can go on a more advanced guided tour that will take you along some of the most beautiful parts of Hawaiian nature. Another great thing to do in Hawaii is snorkeling. There isn't a better way to see all of the wildlife than by getting up close and personal. If you've never been snorkeling before, it consists of wearing a mask, a snorkel tube so you can breathe, and flippers so you can swim along in the water. In colder locations, you might even need to wear a wetsuit. You swim right under the surface of the water so you can view coral reef, fish, and other wildlife. Usually, you ride a boat out to the snorkeling location and possibly to more than one location.

If you're visiting Hawaii in the winter or spring, you can take a small group of people on a whale watching tour. In addition to seeing humpback whales that frequent the waters in Maui, you can also see turtles and dolphins. You can get in close enough proximity to take photos of these beautiful creatures. With the right guide you can feel safe and enchanted in the presence of whales and dolphins alike. Some say humpback whales are the most interesting to watch of all whales, because they breed, teach, do tail slaps, and other tricks in the water.

In keeping with the wildlife theme, you can also go horseback riding along the beach in Hawaii. Horses are beautiful and magnificent creatures, and they make a great mode of transportation for traveling along the beautiful coasts of Maui. If you're going to Hawaii for a romantic getaway or honeymoon trip, riding horses is a very romantic way to sightsee together as a new couple. No matter what you plan on doing in Hawaii, there is plenty of wildlife to see and get close to.
