1. Keep a Payment Schedule

A major factor in your credit score is your ability to make timely payments on your current debts. If you are late all the time on your bills, you will likely have a lower score. You must pay your bills on time. Using auto payment through your bank can be a real time saver and will guarantee you pay your bills in a timely manner.

2. Spend Wisely

Having credit cards that are maxed out all the time is not good for your credit score. This is a red flag to lenders that you cannot manage your money properly. Also having high balances on multiple cards is another red flag. Spend only what you need and begin to pay down your debt as quickly as possible.

3. Borrow from Only One Lender

Do not apply for a bunch of loans from different lenders at the same time. This tells lenders that you are desperate and need money fast.
