Free Training? Bet youre thinking how can this not be a scam or some hidden strings attached. You dont have to look very far either, some employers will pay for your training, hospitals, local organisations and online sites will offer you all the training you need. Be careful though as you need to ensure that these sources are reliable and are certified, otherwise it will be a waste of time. Written courses will be in the form of text books, journals, websites and other printed documents. As I mentioned earlier, some employers will offer training, they will also give out free training resources as long as you work for them. This may not be the best route for you though, depending on how busy your life is after work. If you have no free time at all, then maybe studying full time would be the right option. To find these employers, have a look online and ring up all hospitals in your area. Hospitals may also be affiliate with colleges or universities in the area that will sponser you to do the course. You have work 4 days a week and have one day in college or at university, thus around the problem of studying after work. Some exceptional students may also qualify for a grants or scholarships which will fund your courses for you without you having to work at all. Usually the money received will cover most or all of the course. To find more information about this, you can contact colleges in your area or the Department of Public Health. You dont need to be starting from scratch to qualify for free CNA training. If you are already working then ask your employer about additional training or certifications.
