The Nation council Licensure examination is the exam

, which evaluate the skills and knowledge of the nursing aspirants and checks whether the applicant is eligible for the entry level nurse or not. This exam is held by the State board of nursing and through this exam the aspirants of the practical nurse and the registered nurse can make their way to destination.

To appear in this exam candidate must possess degree in nursing and aspirants have to apply for the nursing license, the nursing board members check the eligibility of the candidate and if the candidate pass the eligibility test then he/she gets ATT, which means permission letter to sit in the exam. Along with this applicant receives important examination documents and form. The candidate can fill the form and register himself/herself. It is noticeable that candidate need to submit the examination form along with the examination fee $200 before the due date as declared by the examining authority.

The course material of the exam is decided by the state board of nursing and the basic ingredients of the course material include Safe, Effective Care Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity and Physiological Integrity.

There are several ways via which the applicants can prepare themselves for the tough exam of NCLEX Exam. In the Nclex examination for registered nurse minimum 75 numbers of questions and or practical nurse 85 numbers of questions are given under the head choose the correct one. After you are done with the minimum number of questions computer will check your competence level, if your level is above the passing standard, you will pass and if it is below the passing standard it means you are fail. If you are just near to the passing standard then you have to answers some more questions and again your level will be checked. The maximum time given to the candidates to complete the exam is 5 hours. The candidates are not allowed to enter with anything except a pencil and a second watch in the examination hall.

The student can know their result after a month, as state board of nursing takes minimum 30 days to declare the result
