Can you Sell my house fast?

I remember reading an article that asked the question, can you really sell my house quickly, in the UK?. As I read through the reasoning I remembered I had a friend that had to sell her house quickly because of financial reasons. She found herself in a financial freefall when she lost her job and at the same time separated with her partner. Looking back that was a very stressful situation fore her and her family.

As a writer I sometimes get wrapped up with a question that just needs to be answered and I think I need to answer this one.

I started to list all of the avenues I could receive advise on this issue. I needed balanced, genuine advise and not a hidden sales pitch. So I listed a few sources ... FSA, solicitor firms, estate agents, property developers, citizen advise and my friend who had lived through a real life experience of selling her house fast.

FSA unofficial advice

I started with the FSA, who was the financial regulatory body. I asked them if they could let me have a list of honest, professional and real property buyers?, they quickly stated that they could not be seen to favor any particular company.

They did inform me that there are a lot of cowboys patrolling the industry and false promises are rife. They went on to gear me up to be let down unless I find an establish, cash rich, morally strung buyer. After talking with the FSA this looked like a tall order.

Solicitors advice

Ok, I spoke to 3 solicitors about the industry and only two had any experience with the UK Quick property sales industry. They said they had each had lots of deals of this sort go through their books. Each of them dealt with particular quick sales companies that were very professional and extremely fast. In fact both of them said that it was usually the person wanting to sell quickly slowed the process up because they weren't always organised. They each spoke about their quick sale companies with respect and place them in moral and professional high esteem. These were two London based companies, cash rich and with integrity intact. I wanted to meet these guys, so I proceeded to call them up.

The other company was called Quickhomesalenow.co.uk. It was also held up on a pedestal by it's solicitor firm and I wanted to know why. I again spoke to the owner and he just like Ghramae (the owner of the first company) stated he put the customer first. It's clear to see that both companies major on customer service. Whether it be the initial realistic cash offer within 24 hrs of contact, the realistic timeframes to the compassionate interaction within a delicate time. Their understanding of the financial and quick sales industry is outstanding, coupled with the many ways they can create a solution for a distressed homeowner is fantastic.
