More and more people are now choosing Sports Utility Vehicles and pick-up trucks

The popular vehicle Ford Explorer was using these tires and some 300 people died in accidents involving Explorers and these defective Firestone tires. Ford blamed the tires as Firestone blamed the poor design of the vehicle.

Carefully assess turns and curbs. The sudden shift of direction can cause the vehicle to tilt over to one side especially if it is going too fast. Each turn and maneuver should be wisely calculated so as not to cause the rollover.

Slow down on slippery and defective roads. Since SUVs can easily turnover, we must be cautious especially in roads where accidents are likely to occur.

Check tires and brakes. Before leaving, it is important to always check brakes and tires as they can save you from collisions that will inflict harm.
