College freshmen can participate in the show as long as they are 18 years and above and meet the other entire eligibility requirements. These include the fact that the participants have to be healthy both mentally and physically. They should not also have participated in any modelling jobs that involved a nationwide campaign in the past two years. Freshman auditions for America's next top model are only open to American citizens who live in America.

Hundreds of girls show up for the open calls for Freshman Auditions for America's next top model. If you want to auditions, you need to know about the date, time and venue for the auditions in advance. On the day of the auditions, go to the venue very early. These auditions normally have a very long queue and they operate on a first come, first save basis. You need to be in comfortable shoes due to the amount of time that you will be spending waiting. However, carry a pair of heels that you can walk in because you will have to do a runway walk for the casting directors.

You can audition for ANTM for as many times that you want just as long as you are below 27 years old. You don't have to audition in the college you go to only; you can try out in different places although you can only audition once per cycle.
