Friendship Or Hatred, Co-equal With Post Divorce

Divorce happens when two people who are married decide to go their separate ways

. After the divorce, two things can happen to the two people involved. They may decide to continue their friendship or they may end up in hatred and bitterness.

Actually, it is very difficult to build a friendship after a divorce because once the divorce is declared to be final, each of the partners will then make it a point to find a new partner. When that happens, they will make every effort to show off their new partner to their former spouse and tell them that they have moved on. This course of action is the usual scenario because the new partner would not want anything that connects them with the past, as well as their children if ever.

It is then not surprising to know that your ex spouse has already totally eradicated you from his or her life. There are, however, some people who are so broad minded and think that it is alright for them to be friends because what happened between them is all in the past and can no longer be revisited. To them, the present is important. If that happens to you, then you are lucky enough to have a very open and friendly spouse.

Most divorces, however, end up in hatred and bitterness between the two people. Still, there are possibilities here and that is either he or she is still in love with his or her ex spouse, or that what has been done by his ex spouse is grave as to warrant forgiveness. What must be treasured here are the past and the memories which made both of you stronger. You can do so even without remembering everything that has happened between you.

It is understandable that rumours and gossip may arise that the couple might return to each other's arms. There is still a part of you that desires that the gossip will turn out to be true.

If that is the case, you should stop entertaining the thought because you will be the one who will be affected to the extent that it will affect your life. There may be some restrictions as well as prohibitions that might exist between you and between your separate lives. If you do not like the ending, you better do something to prevent it from happening.
