If you're more inclined to get out and about -- maybe soak up some rays -- then you can head out to your pick of beaches in San Jose, San Francisco, and up the coast at Stinson Beach. Book a cottage or villa and drink in the misty beauty of Northern California. See? The options for enjoyment are not exclusive to any one town. From kite flying in Berkeley to great cafes in Oakland, you're bound to find something that perfect for you.

Feeling frisky? Let a little love into your heart and book a romantic dinner in any one of the thousands of fine dining establishments. Ok, here is where San Francisco excels, but that said, you can find a romantic table at Yoshi's in Oakland and listen to some world-class jazz, or you can book it to Berkeley and dine on fine Persian cuisine -- that is, after you've watched an archival film compliments of the Berkeley Film Archive. It's the Bay Area, open your mind and you'll find you've opened your options.
