You are trying to do this because your so called job is taking its toll on you, and you are desperate for a new direction. You have heard about people making money from home and decide to see what it is all about. So you search and search, until your head is about to explode. Then you try a few surveys, mystery shopper sites thinking that might get you going only to find you are mostly wasting your time. Sound familiar? Its not fiction, it is what happened to me.

So is the internet a lost cause as far as finding a true work from home opportunity? No it isnt. But, you have to be able to navigate through some rough waters to make it. Finding a online income opportunity that is really a opportunity is difficult. They say 97% fail at internet marketing, imagine what that percentage would be if you factored in the people that give up before they even get started? I would imagine that 8 or 9 out of 10 do just that. Fear of failure and fear of change would be the keys there I believe.

So how does one persevere through the scam talk and find true opportunity? Well imagine it as a batter in a baseball game, you can have a batting average of .300 and be successful. And that is exactly what you are going to find. So if you strike out on your first at bat, dont give up. Go back to bat and give it another shot. And imagine research as batting practice. The more batting practice you have, the better hitter you become. A key is a word I used earlypersevere.

So why did I chose internet marketing? Well imagine that .300 batting average but all of your hits are home runs. That is what internet marketing offers. Your not going to hit a home run every at bat, but as your learn more and more about this vast industry and expand your abilities you will hit more and more homeruns. The payday for these homeruns is very nice also. But just as important to me is how much time you free up to do the things you want to do. I went from working 12 hour days to a typical day being 3-4 hours, and I have the ability to schedule the time when I want to instead of it being forced on me.

So how does a supervisor become a internet marketer? The same way anyone that is committed to changing there future. The key is finding the right educational platform to learn the ropes. The key is your willingness to endure the short term roadblocks with a vision of long term success. I can promise you that you are going to face obstacles, thus the importance of not only having a education platform to teach you, but also a support platform to guide you through the obstacles. For me, I was not willing to fail even though there were days I felt like I might. But my support team helped me through the bumpy startup and now I am able to coach others to do the same.
