Niche marketing is the big talking point in Internet marketing circles and has been for some time but how do you go about winning this particular game? You can see the so called "big dogs" succeeding, making huge amounts of money and trying to sell you their ideas that just do not work for you. It is probably because they are making more money by selling you the ideas that do not work, rather than actually doing it themselves.

This is so frustrating because you know it can be done but you do not really know how to go about it. You are bewildered by a plethora of terms like niche market, niche marketing, niche keyword, niche finder and others and the level of frustration rises. And what does "latent semantic index" mean to you? It is like everything else on the Internet. They can do it, so why can't I?

Then we get into trying to succeed because we do not want to be beaten. So, we think of a niche and start to investigate it, only to find that all of those vital keyword-rich domains have been snapped up. One thing we should have learned by now is only to consider dot com, dot net and dot org domains but they have all gone, so where do you go next?

Then you decide to go ahead and build a blog but you still have that domain name problem because the search engines will not like your keyword phrase being a sub domain. So you build a great Wordpress blog but nobody comes because you do not know how to get them there.

So you buy information on search engine optimisation but all you have done is spend money. There is no money coming in and the frustration grows and grows. Then it dawns on you. What you need is somebody who has actually succeeded at the niche marketing game to teach you what to do.
