Fun Dress Up Games With Halloween Costumes

Halloween is a time where kids can dress up as anything they want to be

, whether it's a witch or a princess. If you're having a Halloween party for your kid and her friends, come up with a variety of costume-related games for them to play. Give candy as prizes to get them more excited about playing the games. There are many Halloween dress up games available online. They offer a wide variety of activities and have lovable characters that are fun to modify. The games are similar to old-fashioned paper dolls, but with a whole new method of playing that can only be found in an online dress-up game.

Costume Contest

A costume contest can make the night more exciting. Ask three kids to be judges. Fill a big basket with various props that can be used for dress up like noses, wigs, clothes and teeth. Give the players a few minutes to search through the basket for items they want to use for their costume. After the players had finished dressing, the judges vote on who came up with the best costume.

Face Painting

This game lets kids race against each other to see who can paint their faces the fastest. Provide the players with the paints they need, and tell them what kind of costume they are painting their faces for, such as a zombie, cat, witch or ghost. Show them a picture of what the face paint should look like. The player that finishes first wins the game.

Costume Race

Divide the kids into two teams. Set out items for costumes in two baskets, including wigs, teeth, hats and noses. Have the first two players stand by the baskets. Instruct them to put on all the items in the basket, run to the other side of the room, run back and remove the costume. Once they put the items back in the basket, they must tag the next player to take a turn.

Mummy Wrap

Divide the kids into two teams and give each team three rolls of toilet paper. Instruct them to wrap one member of their team in toilet paper as fast as they can. The first team to wrap their team member in toilet paper wins the game.

Guess the Costume

After Halloween the previous year, gather up a bunch of cheap costume supplies in preparation for this game. Have the guests bring their old costumes from previous years as well. Make a list of famous characters that are easily recognizable such as presidents, cartoon characters or movie characters. Divide the teens into groups of three to five. Give each team a costume to re-create from the list. Participants must dress themselves like the costume on the list that they were given. Once everyone has dressed, the participants are judged to determine who succeeded at creating the most accurate costume.
