This G.165 line echo cancellation software features double-talk detection which avoids divergence during double talk. It is designed for integration with other software modules from GAO Research such as our DTMF Encoder/Decoder to enhance performance. It is compliant with the ITU G.165 recommendation and is ideal for full-duplex operation.

GAO's line echo canceller consists of two user-callable functions that perform echo cancellation and initialization operations. GAO's G.165 line echo cancellation software is implemented in assembly or C. It can also be employed in addition to echo suppressors for long delays.
