Look for that gold or silver colored little lock at the bottom of the screen or check to see if the website address where you are inputting this information has a https:/ with the s' meaning secure. You have to be careful whenever you are handing out information where your bank account or credit card can be accessed illegally.

Also make sure the site gives you a valid email address. It should have ways to contact them plus a customer support number.
