Both the men's and the women's college basketball teams at UConn are some of the most revered programs in the nation, and there is nothing like seeing all of the action on the court unfold before your very eyes! On Jan. 4, make sure to catch a game of women's basketball when the South Florida Bulls try to topple the Connecticut Huskies on their home turf in Hartford. The Huskies are currently ranked number one in their league, so it'll be a tough matchup for the Bulls if they want to come out on top. The team has been largely successful thanks to their star starters; Maya Moore has been averaging 18.7 points per game and Tina Charles is close behind her with 18.2 points per game.

In recent games, the Huskies have had no problems dominating their opponents on the court. South Florida has been relying heavily on their most valuable player Melissa Dalembert, who recently scored a career-high 22 points against the Detroit Lions. On Jan. 7, book seats to see the ladies of the Connecticut Huskies go against visiting team, the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Bearcats have been claiming victories on the court against the Detroit Lions, Dartmouth and Western Carolina. Coach Jamelle Elliott has helped to organize the team into a formidable opponent on the court. The Bearcats are especially recognized for their offensive skills, with Carla Jacobs recognized for her high scoring average.
