Gas Boiler Systems
Gas Boiler Systems
Gas Boiler Systems
For the last few years there has been a big drive from our government to get homes more energy efficient.
There was a large uptake of home owners all around the country understanding this advice and upgraded their homes.
When this uptake slowed down the government decided to give an incentive to upgrade G rated boilers to A rated. This incentive has no stopped yet there are thousands of homes still with G rated boilers or with good boilers but with defective controls. We at Gas Advanced Services will give you the upgrade advice you need and with this we are then able to put the advice into practice.
Upgrading systems by small means of installing a room thermostat through to complete new heating systems can save you money on your monthly bills and increase the value of your home.

Powerflushing
An expression used to explain the process which heating systems are forcibly cleansed using water at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system.
The process can be made even more effective with specially designed cleansing/de-sludge chemicals.
The objective is to restore systems with circulation and boiler noise problems (caused by sludge and corrosion deposits) to optimum operation.
Power flushing removes these deposits and the problems that they cause.
There are different ways that sludge may build up in your system but once started it will get worse and damage boiler heat exchangers, causing noisy operation, cause reduced efficiency, and even cause failure of the boiler. High efficiency boilers of today are more susceptible to problems caused by sludge due to their compact nature and highly tuned mechanics
The power flush would be done normally by disconnecting your heating pump, connect our powerflush machine where the heating pump once was. Start Powerflush machine.
Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised, fresh clean water is forced through the heating system, pushing the contaminated water out through a dump valve to waste. Radiators are individually flushed without removing or disconnecting them from the system.
At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh clean water and reinstatement of the system to normal operation is done.
