The difference between the two saws is really just a matter of short and tall. The gas powered chainsaw is a workhorse capable of working in tight areas as well as up close and personal. This saw can accomplish anything from trimming or cutting down trees or creating a piece of folk art using a block of wood as a canvas.

The gas powered pole saw simply extends the reach of the saw. This extension adds an extra element of safety for this saw because now the operator who before would possibly have to climb a tree could now avoid putting themselves in a potentially precarious position.
