With the recent crisis in Libya, USA has come to see another huge jump in the history of gasoline marketing, the prices going up with nearly 33 cents in just a two weeks frame. Such alarming news makes every car owner wonder which will be the gas price tomorrow and when will we start seeing an improvement of the situation.

The last time America confronted itself with such a problem was 7 years ago, after the hurricane Katrina hit, when the gasoline price went up with 38 cents in a two-week frame. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina was a devastating event, but it was a natural one on which no one had control whatsoever.

This time the gas price is affected by an event caused by humans and the fight between the opposition forces and the Libyan leader in their own country.And even though Libya supplies only a small amount of gas to the US, they have managed to cause a global event that affects each country that buys gas from them.

This unfortunate event can set back a few years the nations economic recoveries and the crisis will go on for a while, especially if the problem is not solved soon and buyers will have to settle with buying from other producers that will take advantage of the situation increasing the prices even more. This means that the gas price tomorrow might increase again and after a week once again and so on.

For now the highest price in the US is a little bit less than $4, more specifically in San Diego where a gallon of gas is $3,87 closely followed by California and Chicago. At the other pole we have $3.15 per gallon in Billing, Montana.

So what will we do if the gas price tomorrow will be even higher? We should start searching for alternative solutions that will not only leave us with money in our pockets but will also do some good to our environment. And, for now, the best alternative we have is the usage of electric cars. You can convert on your own your car to run on electricity instead of gas and for that you will also receive tax credits from IRS for driving a clean fuel vehicle.
