Once you have a company website and placed the appropriate interest generating content on it, you then need to try to attract site visitors to study what you have to say. You can offer such products in order to attract new site visitors. Another method might be to give some merchandise to charity and in return, ask the charity to create a link on their site to your own site. This may be something you would want to include on your own site to show that your company is altruistic.

Offering money off vouchers is another tried and trusted method of enticing site visitors. Everyone likes the idea of getting money off of something they are buying. If you decide to take this route, you could publicize the vouchers for your website. You could use blogs to publicise the vouchers and ask other bloggers to mention the vouchers, so that more people visit your site, thus creating more traffic.

Somebody may approach you and ask if they can place a link on your website. You may be uncertain at first, but you could try haggling with them. You could try using your subscribers list to offer a link and then see if you can get one in return.

You could be charitable. This is not just about the provision of something good for the charity, but also being able to get something back too. Often, charities will list companies who have volunteered some assistance to them. If you offer your help, not only will you feel good about it, but in return you may well be able to gain a link back to your website. It may not just stop there either. New websites might pick up on the story and create an additional link too.

You could try being green'. Some companies who are environmentally friendly will provide a link to other companies they consider to be equally environmentally friendly. If you register with such companies, you may be able to get a link included and then place their logo on your website. This will show to the world that you are conscious of the environment.

If you have employees within your company, this is a good way in which to promote your website. You can ask your employees to post blogs on social media sites and comment on forums. This is easy enough to do, but can be very effective.

If you follow the steps I have mentioned, all of this will help your company website climb to the top of the search engine results. In addition, look for affordable website design and try to find a cheap website design company who will be able to point you in the right direction.
