Chevrolet Aveo with a new name Chevrolet Sonic launched in the Auto market of North America
. To further add on, it will be available in only some selective auto markets such as Mexico, Canada and North America and may not have widespread availability. As per reports Indian car lovers should not feel bad for this as if this modified Chevrolet Aveo comes to Indian Auto market, it will come as a variant of Chevrolet Aveo and not as Chevrolet Sonic. This car made feel its presence at Paris Motor Show with the same name Chevrolet Aveo, then this German model underwent some remodeling and renaming as Chevrolet Sonic to target only some specific auto markets.
New Chevrolet Aveo will be best in its segment in every aspact whether it is space, style or youthful features. In a conference Mr. Chris Perry, Chevrolets vice president of US marketing told reporters that Chevrolet Sonic will refresh the small car portfolio of the company so to reveal this an exclusive name is given to car so that it represent a separate identity.This all new Chevrolet Aveo is expected to come with a four cylinder diesel and petrol engine. Also if reports are to be believed it will come in two versions with 1.2 litre engine giving a power of 70 hp and another giving 86 hp of power. In future it is also possible that 1.4-liter engine churning out 100 hp and 1.6-liter version churning out 115 hp may expand the project. Although the company has not given any information on the engine power, capacity or price range till now.The company is claiming that this new car will give a new start to small car segment and will help them to attain new heights. This hatchback will carry the new name of Chevrolet Sonic in United States, Mexico and Canada and its production will start this year at GMs Orion Assembly Center in Michigan. Company has invested a total of $545-million at plant. With the increase in competition in auto market due to launching of new cars this year, it will be interesting to see the results at the end of the day. All companies are projecting their cars in a unique way and now a coustomer has a lot of choice to choose from.
