For you gentlemen who wonder what the "new way" to treat a womenis - the answer is in short; the old way. And "old" goes back a long, long time. Like forever. Women are biologically programmed to be attracted to more dominant, masculine men. Call it the one to beat away the sabre tooth tiger, or to catchdinner - whatever - it's in our programming.

That would be easier for you guys if we didn't live in a modern, complicatedsociety with women in the workplace deserving of equal treatment, and at the same time needing ofdomestic support as well.Mentodayhave so many roles they have to play in their relationships with women - it can make their head spin! Here ' s a conundrum I have heard so many times I have paraphrased itlike this:

Men in thework place need to treat women as men. Theyneed to show themrespect and treat themnon-sexually, as complete equals. There is no negotiation here, any deviation is socially unacceptable and likely discriminatory.

Men in thehome need toactlike more likewomen. Theyneed to be nurturing, supportive,be good listeners and pitch in to the daily chores. They need to help create a family support system.

BUT, men in the bedroom need tobemen, andfind ways to place their female partnersafely into her "feminine". That doesn't mean the man always has to be on top (figuratively of course!) but that both partners understand that the most basic premise of sexual attraction is when each partner is in their masculine or feminine place. Or if they have switched it around just for fun,somebody is the masculine partner and somebody is the feminine partner.

Shifting between thesethree levels of masculinity and femininity can be a challenge.For men, it can make him feel vulnerable to step out of his supportive roll and try an little "cave man" - she could just shut him down - right? For women, especially those who work in a masculine environment it can feel equally vulnerable to let down their guards and be a slightly more submissive feminine self.

Even the words dominant and submissive have a negative connotation as in todays society it suggests a sexual deviancy that is only an overplay of what comes naturally to us. My adviceisif you can classify yoursituationof the moment in to one of thesethree archetypes, Iamhopeful that your responses to the women in your life will be a little easier to create, andreceived a little better by her.Your actions as men will come across more confidently and naturally.

And that will be a winning scenario to us all!
